The Ontario Neurodegeneration Research Initiative (ONDRI)
The Ontario Neurodegenerative Disease Research Initiative (ONDRI) is recruiting 600 people from across the province of Ontario with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease, mild cognitive impairment/Alzheimer’s disease, fronto-temporal dementia, and post-stroke cognitive impairment for 3 years in order to track changes over time on brain scans, tests of thinking and memory, retinal scans, walking and balance assessments and ability to control their eye movements. This will provide new information that will be very useful in better understanding these conditions.
